Overview of Nelson Mandela:

Nelson Mandela was a freedom fighter, of sorts, who fought for equality, and eventually became a symbol of peace and reconciliation across the world. He meet with the Pope, the Queen of England and so many other influential people. During his life, he made many speeches, was in jail in for twenty seven years, and experienced so much through his people. He gave up so much of his life in order to abolish apartheid which was a policy or system of segrigation or descrimination on grounds of race, for the betterment of the colored citizens of South Africa. His death effected many lives, in Africa and across the world. Nelson Mandela influenced many, one could even say they were inspired to make a difference because of a single man.
